Transmissora Aliança de Energia Elétrica S.A. (Taesa; TAEE3, TAEE4 and TAEE11) reported that the board of directors, in a meeting held this Wednesday, September 16, 2026, elected Andrea Marques de Almeida as chair of the board.
Andrea Marques de Almeida holds a degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), an MBA in Finance from the Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets (IBMEC) and an MBA in Management from the University of São Paulo (USP), and has also completed the Essentials of Management program at Wharton Executive Education and the Executive Program at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
According to the announcement, Andrea was vice president of Finance and Investor Relations at Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais (Cemig) from 2024 to June 2026, vice president of Finance and Strategy at Santander Brasil from 2021 to 2024, and executive director of Finance and Investor Relations at Petrobras from 2019 to 2021.
