On Wednesday afternoon, the Ibovespa was down 0.32% at 185,906.84 points, with spotlight on the gain of Paranapanema (PMAM3), which was up 7.69% at R$ 0.42, and on the drop of Braskem (BRKM5), which was down 14.04% at R$ 4.59 among the biggest intraday moves.
Compared with the latest updates in this session, PMAM3 reduced its swing after having posted a 38.46% gain in a previous report, but it remained the top gainer of the session at the time of the snapshot. In addition to PMAM3, Taurus preferred shares (TASA4) were up 6.36%, quoted at R$ 7.19. Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) was up 5.92% at R$ 5.90, while Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3) saw its shares (LJQQ3) advance 5.38% to R$ 1.37. Recrusul (RCSL4) rounded out the list of the five biggest gainers, up 5.26% at R$ 0.40.
On the losing side, Braskem (BRKM5) deepened its losses compared with the last reading of this session, when it was down 13.67%, and remained the day’s biggest decliner, trading at R$ 4.59, a drop of 14.04%. Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV3) was down 8.83% at R$ 7.23, while Gafisa (GFSA3) fell 7.69%, quoted at R$ 0.24. OranjeBTC (OBTC3) shares were down 6.99% at R$ 6.39, and OceanPact (OPCT3) was among the main losers, down 5.16% at R$ 10.66.
Over the week, Paranapanema had already been in the corporate news related to a capital increase and changes in shareholding, a context in which the stock showed up among the top gainers in recent sessions. Gafisa was also mentioned in previous strong appreciation moves on B3, while OranjeBTC had an update in shareholding, with Winklevoss Capital recently reducing its position. However, in today’s session, the data observed reflect only the intraday swings recorded up to the time of the snapshot.
