Midway through Wednesday’s trading session, the Ibovespa was down 0.12% at 186,270.34 points, while shares of Recrusul (RCSL4) were up 5.26% at R$ 0.40, and Braskem (BRKM5) shares were down 13.67%, quoted at R$ 4.61, ranking among the main highlights on B3 so far.
Compared with the start of the session, when RCSL4 was up 2.63%, the stock extended its gains and is now up 5.26%, holding at R$ 0.40. Next among the biggest gainers, Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) was trading at R$ 5.84, up 4.85%; JHSF Participações (JHSF3) posted a gain of 3.63% at R$ 11.98; Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional - CSN (CSNA3) advanced 3.54% to R$ 6.43; and MRV Engenharia e Participações (MRVE3) was up 3.51% at R$ 5.89.
On the downside, Braskem (BRKM5) deepened its negative move compared with the start of the session, widening its drop from 13.11% to 13.67%, with the stock at R$ 4.61. Gafisa (GFSA3) fell 7.69% to R$ 0.24; OranjeBTC (OBTC3) was down 6.70% at R$ 6.41, after recent news of Winklevoss Capital cutting its stake to 19% of the capital; OceanPact (OPCT3) was down 5.07% at R$ 10.67; and PRIO (PRIO3) was trading at R$ 62.77, down 4.43%.
As of the 12:35 p.m. update (Brasília time), Recrusul (RCSL4) remained the session’s top gainer, up 5.26%, while Braskem (BRKM5) continued as the biggest decliner, down 13.67%, in a scenario of a slight pullback for the Ibovespa midway through the session.
