Equatorial Energia (EQTL3) approved, at a board of directors’ meeting held on August 31, 2026, a capital increase of R$ 1,040,271.79, within the limit of authorized capital, resulting from the exercise of part of the options under the company’s fifth stock option plan. The share capital increases from R$ 22,211,539,253.50 to R$ 22,212,579,525.29 in 2026.

The increase will be carried out through a private subscription, with the issuance of 51,500 new registered, book-entry, non-par value common shares, raising the total from 1,259,387,047 to 1,259,438,547 common shares. The issue price of the new shares was set at R$ 20.20, and the dilution resulting from the issuance is 0.00409%.
