By 1:25 p.m. this Wednesday, the Ibovespa was down 1.06% at 185,375.02 points, while Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) was posting the biggest gain of the session, at R$ 1.68 (+12.00%). On the opposite end, Simpar (SIMH3) had the steepest drop so far, quoted at R$ 7.67 (-7.92%).

Among the top gainers, in addition to AZTE3, SLC Agrícola (SLCE3) was trading at R$ 17.91, up 6.29%, after already featuring among the positive standouts at the opening of this session. Paranapanema (PMAM3) climbed to R$ 0.52 (+6.12%), while OranjeBTC (OBTC3) was at R$ 7.32 (+4.72%), amid recent news of share repurchase and cancellation programs by the company in recent days. Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional - CSN (CSNA3) also appeared among the gainers, at R$ 6.84 (+3.32%), after a series of recent material facts involving changes in the executive leadership.

In the group of biggest losers, Simpar (SIMH3) led the declines, at R$ 7.67 (-7.92%), followed by Movida (MOVI3), which was quoted at R$ 7.72, down 5.97%. Construtora Tenda (TEND3), which recently joined the Ibovespa and announced the appointment of a new CEO, fell to R$ 33.15 (-5.72%). União Pet Participações (AUAU3) was trading at R$ 3.83, down 5.67%, while CVC (CVCB3), which recently announced an offering of up to R$ 450 million in debentures (debt securities issued by companies), was at R$ 1.73 (-5.46%).

Compared with the start of the session, when SLCE3 already ranked among the biggest gainers and the Ibovespa was down 1.32% at 184,885.14 points, the index slightly extended its points but maintained an intraday decline. SLCE3 remains among the day’s top performers, while PMAM3 reversed the movement seen at the opening and now appears among the biggest gainers, with an appreciation of 6.12% so far.
