On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, Transmissora Aliança de Energia Elétrica (Taesa; TAEE3, TAEE4, TAEE11) reported that the National System Operator issued the clearance terms for the energization of the 500 kV Ponta Grossa/Assis C1 and C2 transmission lines of the Ananaí Transmissora de Energia Elétrica (Ananaí) concession, which adds approximately R$ 123.6 million to the Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP, the regulated revenue of transmission assets) of the concession in the 2026-2027 cycle, already including PIS/COFINS, equivalent to 71.3% of total RAP, with retroactive effects as of July 27, 2026.

According to Taesa, the Ananaí project was already partially in operation, with enabled RAP of about R$ 45.1 million in the 2026-2027 cycle, as disclosed in May. With the new energization, the total amount of enabled RAP rises to approximately R$ 168.7 million, already including PIS/COFINS, which corresponds to 97.3% of the total RAP expected for the project.

The project is located in the states of São Paulo and Paraná and was structured to allow energy exchange among the South, Southeast and Center-West regions. Start-up occurred 10 to 8 months before ANEEL’s regulatory deadline, which was March 2027, and the company highlights the asset’s contribution to serving the industrial sector of the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba.

Ananaí corresponds to lot 1 of transmission auction No. 02/2022, held in December 2022, and is 100% controlled by Taesa. The project has total RAP of R$ 173.3 million in the 2026-2027 cycle, already including PIS/COFINS, ANEEL’s regulatory capex of R$ 1.75 billion, 363 km of 500 kV and 525 kV transmission lines, and four substations accessed by the company.
