Brisanet (BRST3) announced on Monday, July 27, 2026, the election of Antônio Carlos Valente da Silva as a new full member of the Board of Directors, to fill the vacancy opened by a resignation, following a meeting of the board held on July 25, 2026.
The new board member is chairman of the Board of Directors of Padtec Holding, sits on the Advisory Board of CPqD and is chairman of Fundação NTT Data Brasil, in addition to serving as a board member of Cinnecta and Magnamed. He has previously been CEO and chairman of Telefônica Brasil (Vivo) and has served on the boards of Perdigão S/A, Paranapanema S/A and AENZA Peru.
In the public sector and in industry entities, Antonio Carlos Valente was vice-president and director of Anatel, special advisor to the Ministry of Communications and president of Febratel and Telebrasil. He is an electrical engineer, with a postgraduate degree from PUC-Rio and executive specialization in strategy from MIT/Sloan in the United States and from TEMIC in Canada.
