The project adds to the group's portfolio a RAP (Annual Permitted Revenue, the amount a transmission company receives each year for operating the line) of about R$ 22 mi. The construction phase generated about 250 direct and indirect jobs.

EAM II is located in the state of Amazonas, in the Manaus metropolitan area, and comprises the Manaus – Mauá III transmission line (LT), approximately 12 km long. Of that total, 9 km are underground, a solution that, according to the company, contributes to greater operational safety, meets local conditions and constraints for expanding the electrical infrastructure, and reduces exposure to external interference and weather events.

According to Energisa, the project strengthens the electrical system of the Manaus Metropolitan Region, increases the reliability and security of the power supply, and reinforces the transmission system to serve new industrial, commercial and residential loads, as well as future expansions of the regional grid.
