On Friday afternoon, the Ibovespa was down 0.79% at 167,842.55 points, while shares of Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV3) were up 18.90% at R$ 10.57, and Paranapanema (PMAM3) was down 11.54%, trading at R$ 0.23. In the previous session, AZEV3 had already been among the top gainers of the day and PMAM3 remained among the main losers.
Among the session’s top gainers, in addition to AZEV3, shares of Raízen (RAIZ4) were up 10.71%, trading at R$ 0.31, maintaining the move seen in earlier updates this session. Shares of Irani Papel e Embalagem (RANI3) were quoted at R$ 7.56, up 9.09%. Next, São Martinho (SMTO3) was up 7.83% at R$ 21.08, while Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) was trading at R$ 0.76, up 7.04%.
On the downside, PMAM3 remained the session’s biggest loser, down 11.54% at R$ 0.23, after already featuring among the steepest drops in earlier afternoon updates. Usiminas preferred shares (USIM5) were down 9.14% at R$ 4.97. Dotz (DOTZ3) was trading at R$ 7.21, down 8.50%, while CSN (CSNA3) slipped 7.78% to R$ 3.91. Among tech names, Positivo (POSI3) was among the biggest losers, down 6.11% at R$ 2.92.
As a result, AZEV3 remained the session’s top gainer, up 18.90%, while PMAM3 continued as the biggest loser, down 11.54% intraday, in a session where the Ibovespa was down 0.79%.
