Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSNA3) reported on Friday, October 30, 2026, that it entered into a 10-day exclusivity agreement with Huaxin Building Materials Group Co. for the execution of the definitive documents relating to the disposal of shares issued by CSN Cimentos Brasil S.A. (CSN Cimentos). The exclusivity agreement contemplates an enterprise value of R$ 12.7 billion for CSN Cimentos, and the company’s intention is to have the documents signed within a matter of days.
According to CSN, Huaxin submitted the most advantageous proposal for the acquisition of CSN Cimentos within the competitive process launched in March 2026. The company also stated that it will keep its investors and the market informed of any material developments related to the disposal of CSN Cimentos, in accordance with applicable law.
