Midway through Tuesday’s (27) session, the Ibovespa was down 0.20% at 176,256.47 points, moving in the opposite direction of the day’s top gainers. Among the standouts, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was the biggest gainer of the day, quoted at R$ 1.02, up 14.61%, while Braskem (BRKM5) climbed to R$ 3.62, an increase of 13.84%. On the negative side, Gafisa (GFSA3) recorded a drop of 11.54%, at R$ 0.23.
Among the biggest gainers on B3, in addition to BHIA3 and BRKM5, Construtora Tenda (TEND3) showed an advance of 9.29%, trading at R$ 22.82. Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) was also among the top positive highlights, at R$ 5.79, up 9.25%. Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3), which had already been standing out in previous sessions, posted new intraday gains, quoted at R$ 1.20, up 9.09%.
On the list of biggest decliners, Gafisa (GFSA3) led the losses, at R$ 0.23, down 11.54%. Azul (AZUL3) was also down, trading at R$ 10.45, with a 9.91% drop. Paranapanema (PMAM3) was among the most pressured stocks, at R$ 0.33, down 8.33%, while Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3) fell 8.05%, quoted at R$ 1.60. Espaçolaser (ESPA3) rounded out the list of the five biggest declines, at R$ 5.18, down 7.50%.
Compared with earlier updates in this session, Braskem (BRKM5) was holding a move close to the 13.84% gain seen earlier, but now with the Ibovespa in negative territory. Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3), which had reached gains of more than 17% at an earlier point in the session, remained higher, but at a lower level, with a 9.09% increase. Helbor (HBOR3), which had appeared among the gainers at the open, was now one of the biggest decliners, showing a shift in the direction of trading over the course of the day.
