In the early afternoon trading on Tuesday, the Ibovespa was up 0.24% at 177,029.50 points, a more moderate move compared with the earlier gains in the session. Among the standouts, Braskem (BRKM5) was up 13.84%, priced at R$ 3.62, while Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3), which had already appeared among the top gainers earlier, remained at an elevated level, with an 11.82% increase at R$ 1.23. On the negative side, Paranapanema (PMAM3) was down 8.33%, trading at R$ 0.33.
Among the biggest gainers of the session so far, Braskem (BRKM5) held the top spot, with a 13.84% increase and a price of R$ 3.62. Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3) came next, up 11.82% at R$ 1.23, after having reached a gain of more than 17% at an earlier point in the session. Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was also among the gainers, advancing 10.11% to R$ 0.98.
Next in the ranking of top gainers, Technos (TECN3) was trading at R$ 9.40, up 9.94%, while Taurus (TASA4) posted a 8.43% gain at R$ 5.53. These stocks made up the group of the five largest percentage advances on B3 in intraday trading.
In the group of the biggest decliners, Paranapanema (PMAM3) led the losses, down 8.33% at R$ 0.33. Gafisa (GFSA3) fell 7.69%, quoted at R$ 0.24, while EZTEC (EZTC3) retreated 7.05%, trading at R$ 10.41.
Rounding out the list of the five biggest losses in the early afternoon, Viveo (VVEO3), which had already appeared among the negative standouts in a previous report, dropped 6.85% to R$ 0.68. HBR Realty (HBRE3) was also in negative territory, down 6.84% at R$ 2.18. Thus, the session continued to be marked by gains concentrated in BRKM5, LJQQ3 and BHIA3, while PMAM3, GFSA3 and EZTC3 accounted for the largest negative moves at the moment.
