Equatorial Energia (EQTL3) and Equatorial Pará Distribuidora de Energia S.A. reported that the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Aneel) approved, in a board deliberative session held on September 15, 2026, the Annual Tariff Adjustment (RTA) for Equatorial Pará, with an average effect of 6.94% to be borne by consumers, effective as of Thursday, September 17, 2026.
According to the statement, the average impact of the adjustment is 8.09% for high-voltage consumers and 6.66% for low-voltage consumers, resulting in an average tariff effect of 6.94%.
Portion B totaled R$ 3,765.6 million, corresponding to a tariff effect of -1.40%. This amount already reflects the new contractual provisions of the concession renewal in May 2026, including an update for accumulated inflation since the last adjustment (+4.8%, measured by IGP-M/IPCA), minus the application of the X Factor (+2.80%).
Equatorial Energia also reported that the revenue shortfall between the approved adjustment and the tariff actually applied in the period from August 7, 2026, to the date of the statement will be settled in the 2027 tariff review process.
