At the close of Tuesday’s trading session on B3, the Ibovespa ended up 0.54% at 186,502.64 points, below the 186,802.83 points seen in a previous update. Among the session’s standouts, Qualicorp (QUAL3) ended the day at R$ 1.59, up 6.00%, while Paranapanema (PMAM3) closed at R$ 0.40, down 35.48%.
On the gainers’ side, Qualicorp (QUAL3) remained in the spotlight with a 6.00% advance, at R$ 1.59. Braskem (BRKM5) ended the day at R$ 5.34, up 4.91%, pulling back from the earlier intraday high, when it had risen as much as 8.45%. Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3) closed at R$ 2.22, up 4.72%. Metalúrgica Gerdau (GOAU4) ended the session priced at R$ 11.61, a gain of 3.57%, and Banco Pine (PINE4) closed at R$ 12.07, up 3.43%.
On the losing side, Paranapanema (PMAM3) posted the sharpest drop of the session, falling 35.48% to close at R$ 0.40, after already featuring among the main decliners in earlier intraday updates. Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) closed at R$ 1.46, down 9.32%. OranjeBTC (OBTC3) ended the day at R$ 6.87, down 4.32%, the same percentage drop recorded by Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4), which closed at R$ 1.33. Ourofino Saúde Animal (OFSA3) rounded out the list of the five biggest declines, closing at R$ 25.68, down 3.82%.
