At the close of today’s B3 session, the Ibovespa ended down 0.56%, at 187,206.89 points. Among the biggest moves of the trading day, Gafisa (GFSA3) closed at R$ 0.30, up 50.00%, while Paranapanema (PMAM3) finished the day at R$ 0.66, down 26.67%.
Throughout the day, GFSA3 stayed among the main gainers and, by the end of the session, secured the biggest rise of the day, with a gain of 50.00% and a closing price of R$ 0.30. Among the other top performers, Minerva (BEEF3) advanced 3.77%, ending at R$ 4.13, and Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) rose 3.67%, closing at R$ 1.13. Banco da Amazônia (BAZA3) recorded a gain of 3.46%, at R$ 69.75, while Taurus (TASA4) ended the session at R$ 6.03, up 3.08%.
On the losing side, PMAM3 posted the biggest drop of the day, falling 26.67% to R$ 0.66, after having earlier featured among the top movers during the session. Among the other declines, Hapvida (HAPV3) closed at R$ 6.75, down 7.79%, and Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSNA3) finished at R$ 6.69, a drop of 6.95%. Americanas (AMER3) ended the day quoted at R$ 4.92, down 6.64%, while Jalles Machado (JALL3) closed at R$ 2.49, down 5.32%.
Compared with earlier updates in this session, Gafisa gave back part of the gains seen in mid-afternoon, when it was up as much as 60.00%, and ended with a 50.00% gain. Paranapanema, which earlier in the day was showing a decline of around 18.89%, deepened its losses by the end of the session, closing with a 26.67% drop.
