At the close of Thursday's trading session on B3, the Ibovespa ended up 1.43% at 188,268.59 points. Among the session's highlights, Paranapanema (PMAM3) finished the day at R$ 0.81, with a gain of 97.56%, while Casas Bahia (BHIA3) (BHIA3) closed at R$ 0.73, up 12.31%. On the negative side, Recrusul (RCSL4) closed at R$ 0.39, a drop of 7.14%.
Compared to earlier updates in this session, PMAM3 extended its gains, moving from an 85.37% rise in the mid-afternoon to a close of +97.56%, remaining the session's top gainer. BHIA3 also strengthened its upward move, going from +10.77% to +12.31% by the end of the session. Meanwhile, RCSL4 stayed among the biggest losers, maintaining a 7.14% decline through the close.
Among the five biggest gainers of the day, in addition to Paranapanema (PMAM3) and Casas Bahia (BHIA3), Raízen (RAIZ4) ended the session quoted at R$ 0.28, up 7.69%. Assai (ASAI3) closed at R$ 9.87, gaining 7.28%, while Camil Alimentos (CAML3) (CAML3) ended at R$ 5.35, up 7.00%.
On the decliners' side, after Recrusul (RCSL4), Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) closed at R$ 1.11, down 5.13%. Gafisa (GFSA3) ended the session at R$ 0.20, a drop of 4.76%. Among Azevedo & Travassos shares, Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) closed at R$ 1.65, falling 4.62%, while AZEV4 (Azevedo & Travassos) ended at R$ 1.37, down 2.84%.
