Midway through Tuesday’s trading session, the Ibovespa was up 1.79% at 180,609.55 points, maintaining the positive bias seen at the open. Among the most volatile stocks on B3, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was up 28.79%, quoted at R$ 0.85, while OranjeBTC (OBTC3) was down 9.01% at R$ 6.26, ranking among the day’s biggest losers.
On the top gainers’ side, in addition to BHIA3, Paranapanema (PMAM3) was up 6.25%, trading at R$ 0.17. Recrusul (RCSL4) advanced 5.13% to R$ 0.41, and Boa Safra Sementes (SOJA3) gained 4.93% to R$ 7.24. Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) also stood out on the positive side, with a 4.61% gain to R$ 1.59.
On the negative side, after an opening where Rede D1000 retreated and Banco da Amazônia was among the gainers, new stocks went on to concentrate the biggest declines. OranjeBTC (OBTC3) was down 9.01% at R$ 6.26, the steepest drop at the moment. Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) was trading at R$ 1.18, down 6.35%, while Enjoei (ENJU3) fell 3.85% to R$ 0.75.
Among the other losses, CVC (CVCB3) was down 3.23% at R$ 1.80, and Jalles Machado (JALL3) slipped 3.03% to R$ 2.56. Thus, the session continued with the Ibovespa in positive territory and with sharp moves in lower-priced stocks, both among the biggest gainers and the biggest losers.
