On Thursday, August 6, 2026, PetroReconcavo (RECV3) reported that in 2026 it signed a new crude oil purchase and sales contract with Brava Energia for the Ativo Potiguar, effective from October 1, 2026, to December 31, 2030. Until the new agreement takes effect, the commercial amendments already in force will remain valid.

The contract establishes a reciprocal commitment to buy and sell at least 50% of PetroReconcavo’s net oil production in the Ativo Potiguar fields. According to the company, this is the first partnership between the parties with a five-year term, which increases the predictability of commercialization cash flows.

The agreement provides for advances in commercial and operational conditions, with enhancements to the pricing methodology, mechanisms aligned with the company’s other contracts, and the maintenance of price components linked to market indicators related to refining activity. These elements are intended to encourage operational efficiency and align the commercialization of production with market conditions.

The new contract also increases PetroReconcavo’s flexibility in allocating its production, maintaining supply to Brava’s refinery and the option of outflow via the Port of Pecém. According to the company, this structure strengthens the resilience of the business, increases commercial optionality, and contributes to the development of the Brazilian onshore industry.
