Fair Isaac (FICO) reported net income of US$ 175.0 million in fiscal Q4 2026, ended September 30, 2026, compared with US$ 155.0 million in the same period a year earlier. Earnings per share (EPS) were US$ 8.12, versus US$ 6.42 a year earlier. The result includes three one-time items: a US$ 65 million provision for a proposed settlement of antitrust class actions tied to the Scores business, a US$ 48 million non-operating gain from the sale of a minority stake, and a US$ 27 million restructuring charge for a workforce reduction plan.
Revenue totaled US$ 657.0 million, up 27% from US$ 515.8 million in fiscal Q4 2025. Scores revenue was US$ 413.8 million (up 33%), with a 39% increase in the B2B segment, attributed mainly to a higher unit price for mortgage origination scores, partly offset by a decline in origination volume. Software revenue was US$ 243.2 million, up 19%.
Adjusted net income (non-GAAP, which excludes items the company considers non-recurring) was US$ 239.3 million, versus US$ 187.0 million. Adjusted EPS was US$ 11.10, versus US$ 7.74. Operating cash flow was US$ 294.2 million and free cash flow was US$ 284.3 million, versus US$ 210.8 million a year earlier.
In fiscal year 2026, revenue was US$ 2.5 billion and net income was US$ 835.0 million, with EPS of US$ 36.32. The company repurchased US$ 3.0 billion in shares during the year. Long-term debt was US$ 4.9 billion as of September 30, 2026.
FICO said it will not provide guidance for fiscal year 2027. According to the company, the transition to customized pricing in mortgage originations is under way, with agreements still being negotiated, and high interest rates and affordability issues are keeping originations below the historical average.
