Suzano (SUZB3) reported on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, that it has received the resignation request of the current executive vice president for Industrial Pulp, Engineering and Energy, Aires Galhardo, effective August 28, 2026.
With the departure of Aires Galhardo, the board of directors approved the appointment of the current executive vice president, Carlos Aníbal Fernandes de Almeida Júnior, to the position of executive vice president for Industrial Pulp, Engineering and Energy, also accumulating responsibilities for Procurement, Certification Strategy and leadership of Futuragene.
According to the statement, Carlos Aníbal Fernandes de Almeida Júnior has more than 23 years of service at Suzano, having led areas such as the Pulp business unit, the Paper business unit and the Forestry area.
The board of directors expressed its thanks for the more than 21 years of work by Aires Galhardo in several areas considered key to the company’s business.
