On Monday, August 3, 2026, Dexco (DXCO3) reported that it had signed a purchase and sale agreement with Cerâmica Carmelo Fior Ltda to divest its industrial unit located in Urussanga (SC), including the land and part of the plant’s equipment. The transaction, which is part of the company’s ongoing plan to optimize its asset portfolio and allocate capital efficiently, totals R$ 170 million, with receipt expected in 2026.

In the Coatings segment, the transaction is aligned with the strategy of concentrating industrial operations at the Botucatu and Criciúma units, aiming for better use of installed capacity, productivity gains and greater operational efficiency. According to Dexco, the division’s portfolio, the positioning of the Ceusa and Portinari brands and customer service will remain unchanged.

The closing of the sale is subject to the fulfillment of standard conditions precedent for transactions of this type, including approval by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE). The company also reported that the divestment of the Urussanga unit should not generate material impacts on its results, and that the accounting effects will be classified as non-recurring.
