In Wednesday’s intraday session, around 1:15 p.m., the Ibovespa was down 0.26% at 186,939.07 points, moving in the opposite direction of some small-cap stocks. Recrusul (RCSL4) extended gains compared with earlier readings in the session and was the session’s top performer at R$ 0.34, up 13.33%, while Pague Menos (PGMN3) posted the biggest loss of the day so far, quoted at R$ 3.81, down 5.93%.
Among the biggest gainers at this stage of the session, in addition to RCSL4, were Taurus (TASA4), up 4.43% at R$ 8.48, and Movida (MOVI3), up 4.15% at R$ 8.79. Next, Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) was trading at R$ 6.14, up 4.07%, and Gafisa (GFSA3) was up 3.85% at R$ 0.27. RCSL4 had already stood out in earlier snapshots, when it was up 10.00% and then 6.67%, and was now reinforcing its position among the day’s top positive movers.
On the downside, after PGMN3, IRB Brasil (IRBR3) was down 4.53% at R$ 60.46, while Espaçolaser (ESPA3) was quoted at R$ 6.93, a 4.41% drop. Braskem (BRKM5) was among the biggest losers, trading at R$ 4.14, down 4.17%, and Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) fell 4.13% to R$ 1.16. These stocks ranked as the five steepest declines on B3 at the time of the snapshot, on a day when the main index was trading in negative territory and attention was focused on the sharpest swings in specific names.
