At the opening of today’s session on B3, the Ibovespa was down 0.50%, at 185,573.38 points. Among the standouts in the first trades, shares of Recrusul (RCSL4) were up 2.63%, at R$ 0.39, while Braskem (BRKM5) was down 13.11%, at R$ 4.64.
Among the top gainers in the first minutes of trading, besides RCSL4, Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) was up 2.33%, quoted at R$ 5.70. In the same direction, Assai (ASAI3) was up 2.28%, at R$ 9.87, and Log Commercial Properties (LOGG3) advanced 1.84%, at R$ 23.83. União Pet Participações (AUAU3) rounded out the list of the five biggest gainers, with a 1.76% increase, at R$ 4.04.
On the downside, in addition to BRKM5, OceanPact (OPCT3) fell 8.63%, trading at R$ 10.27, and Paranapanema (PMAM3) lost 7.69%, at R$ 0.36. OranjeBTC (OBTC3) dropped 4.22%, to R$ 6.58, after recent news of a reduction in Winklevoss Capital’s stake to 19% of the capital, now holding 28.48 million common shares. Gafisa (GFSA3) also ranked among the biggest losers in the morning, down 3.85%, at R$ 0.25.
As a result, the start of today’s session on B3 showed the Ibovespa in negative territory and significant moves among small caps, with RCSL4 as the top gainer and BRKM5 as the biggest loser in this first snapshot of the day.
