In the early afternoon this Thursday, the Ibovespa was up 1.12%, at 187,704.68 points, while Paranapanema (PMAM3) climbed 36.59%, quoted at R$ 0.56, and Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was up 10.77%, at R$ 0.72. On the opposite end, Gafisa (GFSA3) fell 4.76%, to R$ 0.20, remaining among the biggest losses of the session so far.
Among the top gainers, in addition to PMAM3 and BHIA3, Camil Alimentos (CAML3) was up 5.40%, trading at R$ 5.27, while Assai (ASAI3) advanced 4.57%, to R$ 9.62. Hapvida (HAPV3) also stood out on the positive side, with a gain of 4.14%, at R$ 7.29 per share. Compared with the last update of this session, PMAM3 narrowed its intraday move from the peak of +68.29%, but remained the biggest gainer of the session.
On the losing side, after already appearing among the biggest decliners in previous reports of this session, GFSA3 maintained a drop of 4.76%, at R$ 0.20. Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) fell 4.05%, to R$ 1.66, while Raízen (RAIZ4) was trading at R$ 0.25, down 3.85%. Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) retreated 3.55%, to R$ 1.36, and Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) recorded a 3.42% drop, quoted at R$ 1.13.
Compared with earlier data from this session, the Ibovespa, which was down 0.48% at the open and then moved up 0.14% in an interim update, was now showing a firmer gain of 1.12%. BHIA3 maintained the same move of +10.77% seen in the previous bulletin, while GFSA3 remained with the same 4.76% drop, staying among the main negative highlights of the intraday session.
