Valid (VLID3) completed in 2026 the acquisition of the HST Card Technology (HST) group, a Brazilian software company for transactions operating in Brazil and Latin America. The transaction amount is R$ 73 million, which will be paid over 3 years.

According to the company, the deal is aligned with its strategy to expand and accelerate its so-called Engine 2 by incorporating HST’s digital payments and tokenization platform, which serves some of the largest banks in Brazil and Latin America and maintains relationships with the main card networks in the sector.

With HST, Valid now has a portfolio of payment tokenization solutions, with potential integration with the company’s digital identity solutions. The acquisition expands Valid’s presence in stages of digital transaction journeys, authentication, and fraud prevention.

The company states that the deal strengthens its digital portfolio, increases the potential for value creation among its business units, and contributes to the evolution of its competitive positioning over the long term.
