In Tuesday’s (28) update, at around 12:21 p.m., the Ibovespa was up 0.79%, at 176,708.18 points compared to the previous close. Among the intraday highlights, shares of Grupo Vamos (VAMO3) were the top gainer of the session, up 4.73% at R$ 3.32, while Três Tentos Agroindustrial (TTEN3) posted the largest drop, falling 10.70% to R$ 13.61. Compared to the previous update of this session, when the index was up about 1.0%, the Ibovespa pared its gains, while TIMS3 extended its losses and remained among the biggest decliners.
On the positive side, in addition to VAMO3, Trisul (TRIS3) ranked among the top gainers, trading at R$ 4.32, up 4.60% in the intraday session. JSL (JSLG3) followed, at R$ 5.80, up 4.32%. Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3) advanced 4.24%, trading at R$ 1.23, and Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3) gained 3.78% to R$ 1.92. These stocks made up the five biggest gainers on B3 at the time of the snapshot.
Among the biggest losers, besides TTEN3, Gafisa (GFSA3) fell 8.82%, quoted at R$ 0.31. TIM (TIMS3), which had already appeared among the negative highlights in an earlier update of this session, deepened its loss to 6.60%, at R$ 20.08. Telefônica Brasil (VIVT3) was trading at R$ 34.05, down 5.37%, while Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) dropped 3.97% to R$ 1.21. These stocks formed the group of the five biggest losers, in a scenario where the Ibovespa remained in positive territory halfway through the session.
