On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, Rumo S.A. (RAIL3) reported that, in 2026, Cristiano Carvalho Brasil will leave the position of executive vice president of Operations, effective as of July 20, 2026. For the role, the board of directors elected Angelo Kury Deves, who will take office on the same date.
According to the company, Angelo has more than 25 years of experience in the railway sector, began his career at América Latina Logística (ALL), and has held leadership positions in maintenance, planning, and rail operations, working across all of Rumo’s networks. He has also headed the Capex and After-Sales Commercial departments and was the executive responsible for implementing the Central Network (Ferrovia Norte-Sul) and the Ferrovia do Mato Grosso.
