In the 12:21 p.m. update this Monday on B3, the Ibovespa was up 0.51% at 174,939.96 points, a moderate gain compared with the start of the session. Among the highlights, shares of Viveo (VVEO3) were trading at R$ 0.67, up 8.06%, while DASA (DASA3) was down to R$ 2.88, a drop of 6.19% in intraday trading.
On the positive side, in addition to VVEO3, Recrusul (RCSL4) was among the top gainers, quoted at R$ 0.62, up 6.90%. Oncoclínicas (ONCO3), which earlier had been leading the gains in this session, remained in positive territory, trading at R$ 0.63, with a 6.78% advance. Marfrig Global Foods (MBRF3) also stood out, at R$ 15.82, up 6.60%, while Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3) was trading at R$ 1.19, a 6.25% gain compared with the previous close.
Among the biggest decliners in the session, DASA3 led the losses, down 6.19% at R$ 2.88. Gafisa (GFSA3) came next, quoted at R$ 0.33, a 5.71% drop. Hidrovias do Brasil (HBSA3) fell 3.80% to R$ 3.29, while PRIO (PRIO3) was trading at R$ 56.86, down 3.33%. Paranapanema (PMAM3), which earlier had already been among the session’s biggest movers, was at R$ 0.30, down 3.23% in the early afternoon.
As a result, compared with the first hours of trading, the Ibovespa extended the gains seen at the open, while the lead among the top gainers shifted from ONCO3 to VVEO3. On the negative side, PMAM3 lost its spot as the main decliner in the morning, a position that was taken over by DASA3 around midday.
