On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, B3 (B3SA3) announced the appointment of Eduardo Neves as the company’s Vice President of Technology, also referred to as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The executive has more than 30 years of experience in technology, having worked in the financial and telecommunications sectors, including a stint at IBM Consulting.
Over the last five years, Eduardo Neves has led the technological transformation of Itaú Chile, with initiatives in digitalization, the use of artificial intelligence, and the pursuit of operational efficiency. According to B3, the arrival of the executive reinforces its strategy of accelerating innovation and technological evolution as pillars for growth and value creation for the market.
Eduardo Neves will begin his activities at B3 in the coming months, after the completion of the transition process at Itaú. Until then, the technology department will remain under the responsibility of B3’s interim technology director, Jochen Mielke, to whom the company expressed its thanks for his dedication during the transition period.
