Brava Energia (BRAV3) reported this Wednesday, July 15, 2026, that the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) upheld, in a meeting held on July 14, 2026, the appeal filed in connection with the public tender offer for acquisition of control of the company (OPA) by Ecopetrol.
With the decision, the CVM nullified the previously imposed suspension of Brava Energia’s control OPA and ordered the offeror to submit an amendment to the offer instrument, incorporating the outstanding requirements of the regulator’s technical department.
The authority also determined that the offeror must set a new date for holding the OPA auction, in compliance with the applicable regulatory deadline. The company stated that it will keep shareholders and the market informed about further developments regarding the offer.
