On Monday, July 20, 2026, Raízen S.A. (RAIZ4) reported that it has signed a contract for the sale of the Caarapó Mill, located in Caarapó (MS), in the 2025/26 crop year, for an estimated amount of R$ 760 million. The transaction includes the transfer of Raízen’s own sugarcane and the contracts with suppliers tied to the unit, which totaled approximately 3.5 million tons of processed sugarcane in the 2025/26 crop year, to Adecoagro Vale do Ivinhema S.A.

According to the company, the transaction is aligned with its strategy of optimizing its asset portfolio, streamlining operations and seeking higher profitability from its agro-industrial portfolio. After the completion of the transaction, Raízen will operate a portfolio of 23 mills, with an installed crushing capacity of approximately 69 million tons per crop year.

The payment of R$ 760,000,000 will be made in cash on the closing date of the transaction, subject to the usual adjustments for deals of this type. Completion is subject to approval by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) and to the fulfillment of the other conditions set forth in the contracts. The company stated that it will keep the market informed of any relevant developments.
