In this Friday’s intraday session, the Ibovespa was down 0.33%, at 183,356.79 points, while shares of Positivo (POSI3) were up 7.02%, quoted at R$ 3.66, and Armac (ARML3) was down 12.63%, at R$ 4.08. Compared with earlier readings in the session, POSI3 extended gains and ARML3 deepened losses, remaining the biggest gainer and the biggest decliner of the session so far.
Among the top gainers, Positivo (POSI3) led the ranking, trading at R$ 3.66, up 7.02%. Next came Arezzo (AZZA3), at R$ 15.49 and a gain of 6.83%; Romi (ROMI3), quoted at R$ 6.25 and up 6.29%; Even (EVEN3), at R$ 4.87, rising 6.10%; and Casas Bahia (BHIA3), at R$ 0.95, up 4.40%. Compared with the last update, ROMI3 remains on a positive path, but with a percentage slightly below the 6.63% recorded earlier.
On the downside, Armac (ARML3) remained the session’s biggest loser, trading at R$ 4.08, a drop of 12.63%, after having already posted losses of 12.42% in an earlier reading of this session. Paranapanema (PMAM3) followed, quoted at R$ 0.39, down 7.14%. Among the most liquid stocks, Ultrapar (UGPA3) was trading at R$ 36.72, down 5.36%, while Randon (RAPT4) was at R$ 4.81, down 5.13%. Vibra (VBBR3) rounded out the list of the five biggest decliners, at R$ 37.20, down 4.98% at the same time.
As a result, the Ibovespa remained in negative territory this afternoon, after having already been recorded down 0.25% and 0.7% in earlier snapshots of the session. The swings in POSI3 and ROMI3 keep these stocks among the day’s main upside highlights, while ARML3 continues to rank among the biggest losers, alongside PMAM3, UGPA3, RAPT4 and VBBR3.
