As of 4:30 p.m. this Wednesday, the Ibovespa was down 0.80% at 185,926.11 points, deepening the decline compared to earlier readings in the session. Among the highlights, Recrusul (RCSL4) was up 10.00%, at R$ 0.33, while Paranapanema (PMAM3) was down 10.53%, quoted at R$ 0.34, remaining the biggest loser of the session so far.
On the gainers’ side, in addition to RCSL4, Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) advanced 3.90%, trading at R$ 6.13. Cosan (CSAN3) rose 2.94% to R$ 3.85, and Petrobras (PETR4) posted a gain of 2.81%, at R$ 49.71. Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV3) appeared among the top five gainers, up 2.78% at R$ 7.40. In earlier bulletins of this session, RCSL4 had already appeared among the biggest gainers, at one point rising 13.33% during the session.
Among the biggest decliners, in addition to PMAM3, Pague Menos (PGMN3) fell 7.41%, quoted at R$ 3.75, extending the downward move seen in the latest intraday updates. Braskem (BRKM5) dropped 6.71% to R$ 4.03, while Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3) slid 6.70% to R$ 2.09. Homebuilder Tenda (TEND3) rounded out the list of the five biggest losers, down 6.43% at R$ 27.19.
Compared with earlier reports in this session, the Ibovespa has widened its decline — from 0.26% at 186,939.07 points in one of the first readings of the day to the current 0.80% drop and 185,926.11 points. RCSL4 has pared part of its earlier gains after having climbed 13.33% earlier, while PMAM3 has kept a negative move close to 10%, remaining among the main decliners on B3.
