In this Tuesday’s intraday session, the Ibovespa was up 0.54% at 187,585.96 points, maintaining a rising trend compared with earlier readings in the session. Among the highlights, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was trading up 8.89% at R$ 0.98, while Taurus (TASA4) was down 11.66% at R$ 8.03, standing as the steepest partial decline of the trading day.
On the positive side, BHIA3 trimmed part of the gains seen earlier in the session, when it had risen more than 13%, but it was still the top gainer of the day at the time of the snapshot. LWSA (LWSA3) ranked second among the gainers at R$ 4.16, up 4.26%. Right behind was Alpargatas (ALPA4), which was up 4.25% at R$ 13.74. Among the other top risers, Triunfo (TPIS3) was trading at R$ 10.81, up 3.44%, and Hypera (HYPE3) was at R$ 24.91, rising 3.28%.
On the negative side, in addition to Taurus (TASA4) at R$ 8.03 (-11.66%), Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV3) was down 8.15% at R$ 7.44. Paranapanema (PMAM3) was at R$ 0.38, dropping 7.32%, while Dotz (DOTZ3) was quoted at R$ 11.00, with a 7.09% decline. Among the biggest losers was also Oncoclínicas (ONCO3), down 6.87% and trading at R$ 1.22.
Compared with the latest updates of this session, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) remained in positive territory, but with a smaller move than the +10.00% and +13.33% seen earlier, when the stock reached R$ 0.99 and R$ 1.02, respectively. Taurus (TASA4), in turn, pared losses versus the 15.51% drop seen earlier, when it was trading at R$ 7.68, but it was still among the biggest losers of the session as of 4:45 p.m.
