Early Tuesday afternoon, the Ibovespa was down 0.12% at 186,346.51 points, extending the downturn seen earlier in the session. Among the most actively traded stocks, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was adding to gains, trading at R$ 1.02 (+13.33%), while Taurus (TASA4) deepened losses, quoted at R$ 8.01 (-11.88%).
BHIA3 remained the top gainer of the session, above the levels seen in earlier updates, when it was already among the biggest winners. Next on the list of gainers were Gafisa (GFSA3), at R$ 0.26 (+4.00%), LWSA (LWSA3), at R$ 4.14 (+3.76%), Alpargatas (ALPA4), at R$ 13.60 (+3.19%), and Tupy (TUPY3), at R$ 16.57 (+2.79%).
On the losing side, TASA4 extended its drop compared to the last intraday update, when it was already among the biggest decliners on B3. Paranapanema (PMAM3) remained among the main laggards, trading at R$ 0.38 (-7.32%), while Vivara (VIVA3) fell to R$ 22.48 (-5.63%).
Rounding out the five biggest losses at the time of the snapshot, Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) was quoted at R$ 1.24 (-5.34%) and Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV3) retreated to R$ 7.68 (-5.19%). Thus, the middle of the session remained marked by a moderate pullback in the Ibovespa and more pronounced moves in specific stocks, with BHIA3 leading the gains and TASA4 among the steepest losers.
