As of 12:25 p.m. this Tuesday, the Ibovespa was down 0.32%, at 185,975.53 points, in a session marked by divergent moves among the main highlights. Among the largest movers, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was up 13.33%, at R$ 1.02, while Taurus (TASA4) posted a drop of 7.81%, at R$ 8.38, ranking as the biggest gainer and the biggest decliner of the day so far, respectively.
Since the last update of this session, Casas Bahia has maintained an upward trajectory and extended its gains: previously up 7.8%, BHIA3 climbed to a 13.33% increase, quoted at R$ 1.02. Other gainers included Gafisa (GFSA3), up 8.00%, at R$ 0.27, LWSA (LWSA3), advancing 3.01%, at R$ 4.11, Americanas (AMER3), up 2.79%, at R$ 5.16, and Log-In Logística Intermodal (LOGN3), which recorded a 2.77% rise, at R$ 26.72.
On the downside, in addition to Taurus, which fell 7.81%, at R$ 8.38, Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) dropped 6.11%, to R$ 1.23, while Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV3) traded down 6.05%, at R$ 7.61. Vivara (VIVA3) showed a decline of 5.67%, at R$ 22.47, and Paranapanema (PMAM3) retreated 4.88%, to R$ 0.39, after earlier ranking among the biggest losers of the session, when it was down 7.3%.
Compared with the start of the session, when the Ibovespa dropped 0.8% and the index already showed a negative bias, the current 0.32% decline indicates a slight easing in the intensity of the move. The composition of the largest movers also changed over the course of the morning, with Méliuz (CASH3) and Technos (TECN3) leaving the list of highlights and stocks such as GFSA3, LOGN3, ONCO3 and VIVA3 entering among the biggest gainers and losers at this midway point of the session.
