On Wednesday afternoon, at around 3:55 p.m., the Ibovespa was up 2.93% at 185,005.31 points, while Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) was up 17.97% at R$ 5.45 and Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was down 21.11% at R$ 0.71, among the main highlights of the session on B3.
Among the biggest gainers of the day, Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) remained in the lead, quoted at R$ 5.45, up 17.97%. Braskem (BRKM5) came next, at R$ 4.98, rising 17.45%. Dotz (DOTZ3) posted a gain of 16.70%, trading at R$ 13.00. Grupo Vamos (VAMO3) advanced 15.77% to R$ 3.45, while Recrusul (RCSL4) rose 14.63% to R$ 0.47.
On the downside, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) posted the sharpest drop of the session, falling 21.11% to R$ 0.71. Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) fell 6.67% to R$ 1.54. Rumo Logística (RAIL3) traded at R$ 14.66, down 4.18%, while Cosan (CSAN3) dropped 4.03% to R$ 3.81. OranjeBTC (OBTC3) rounded out the group of the five biggest decliners, quoted at R$ 6.28, down 1.88%.
Compared to earlier readings in the session, the Ibovespa held on to gains of close to 3%, now up 2.93%. MGLU3, which had been up more than 23% at times during the session, pared its gain to 17.97% at this reading. BHIA3, which earlier in the session had shown smaller losses, deepened its decline to 21.11% as of 3:55 p.m.
