Midway through Wednesday’s trading session, the Ibovespa was up 3.28%, at 185,630.93 points, extending the earlier gains on B3. Among the highlights, Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) was up 23.16%, at R$ 5.69, while Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was down 14.44%, quoted at R$ 0.77, remaining the biggest loser of the day so far.
On the positive side, Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) strengthened its position among the top gainers of this session, after already featuring among the standouts in earlier partial readings, when it was up 12.99%. Now, MGLU3 leads the ranking, with a 23.16% gain, at R$ 5.69. Dotz (DOTZ3) appeared next, trading at R$ 13.30, up 19.39%. Braskem (BRKM5) advanced 17.22%, to R$ 4.97, after having been among the declining stocks in the previous week, according to recent market data.
Among the other gainers, Recrusul (RCSL4), which had started the day up 7.32%, was now rising 14.63%, at R$ 0.47. Grupo Vamos (VAMO3) also ranked among the biggest advances, up 12.75%, at R$ 3.36. These stocks made up the five largest gains of the session as of the time of the last data point.
On the negative side, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) maintained its lead among the losers, down 14.44%, at R$ 0.77, after already posting a 14.44% drop in an earlier partial of this session. Oncoclínicas (ONCO3), which recently released clarifications on an out-of-court restructuring plan (a judicial mechanism for debt reorganization), fell 8.33%, to R$ 0.99.
Rounding out the list of biggest declines, Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) was trading down 6.06%, at R$ 1.55, while Rumo Logística (RAIL3) slipped 4.64%, to R$ 14.59. Cosan (CSAN3) also figured among the negative highlights, with a 3.78% drop, at R$ 3.82. Thus, amid the Ibovespa’s advance, the session showed divergent moves among retail, logistics, construction and healthcare services on B3.
