On Wednesday afternoon, at around 3:40 p.m., the Ibovespa was up 0.48% at 175,423.22 points, while Braskem (BRKM5) was posting a 19.60% gain at R$ 4.21, and Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) was down 21.35%, quoted at R$ 1.51. Compared with the latest updates of this session, BRKM5 extended its gains from the previous +16.19%, and ONCO3 deepened its losses after a 15.63% drop recorded in the earlier report.
Among the biggest gainers in the session, besides Braskem (BRKM5), Gafisa (GFSA3) was up 9.52%, trading at R$ 0.23, while Portobello (PTBL3) advanced 8.70% to R$ 1.50. Light (LIGT3) was up 7.49%, quoted at R$ 3.59, and Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3) gained 6.83% to R$ 2.19. These moves changed the composition of the main gainers compared with the first hours of the session, when Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) appeared among the top performers with a gain of more than 30%.
On the losing side, Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) was the biggest decliner, down 21.35% at R$ 1.51, after already featuring among the main losers in earlier updates of the session. Recrusul (RCSL4) fell 12.28% to R$ 0.50, while Paranapanema (PMAM3) dropped 7.14%, quoted at R$ 0.13. Qualicorp (QUAL3) was down 5.49% at R$ 1.55, and Raízen (RAIZ4) retreated 4.35%, trading at R$ 0.22. As a result, this afternoon’s session on B3 remained marked by significant volatility in some stocks, while the Ibovespa held a moderately positive performance.
