As of 2:35 p.m. this Wednesday, the Ibovespa was up 0.44% at 175,353.40 points, in a session marked by wide moves in specific stocks. Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) extended its gains in this session and was trading at R$ 2.17, up 22.60%, while Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) fell to R$ 1.62, down 15.63%, ranking among the day’s biggest losers.
Among the top gainers, in addition to AZEV4, Braskem (BRKM5) was trading at R$ 4.21, up 19.60% in the session. Next, Gafisa (GFSA3) climbed to R$ 0.23, an advance of 9.52%, and Portobello (PTBL3) was quoted at R$ 1.51, up 9.42%. Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) also appeared among the main gainers of the session, at R$ 1.62, a gain of 8.72% versus the previous close.
On the losing side, after fluctuating less in the earlier snapshots of the session, ONCO3 deepened its decline and was then down 15.63% at R$ 1.62. Recrusul (RCSL4) fell to R$ 0.53, a drop of 7.02%, while Ambipar (AMBP3) was trading at R$ 0.16, down 5.88%. Among the other declines in the period, Raízen (RAIZ4) was at R$ 0.22, a drop of 4.35%, and Qualicorp (QUAL3) was quoted at R$ 1.58, down 3.66%.
Compared with earlier updates in this session, AZEV4 pared part of the gains seen earlier, when it was up more than 30%, but remained the biggest intraday gainer of the session. BRKM5, which was up around 16% at midday, accelerated its gains to 19.60%. On the negative side, ONCO3 widened its loss compared with earlier readings, when it was down just over 6%, and moved into the lead among the biggest losers on B3 in the afternoon snapshot.
