On Tuesday afternoon, the Ibovespa was up 0.85% at 173,357.53 points, maintaining the positive trend seen earlier. Among the session’s standouts, Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) was up 11.84%, quoted at R$ 1.70, while Paranapanema (PMAM3) was down 13.33%, trading at R$ 0.13 and posting the biggest partial drop of the day.
Compared with earlier updates in this session, ONCO3 eased the intensity of its move, after having posted a 13.16% gain midway through the session. Even so, the stock remained the top gainer among the monitored names, ahead of Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3), which was up 8.18% at R$ 1.19. Assai (ASAI3), which had previously shown a 7.70% gain, was trading close to that level, up 7.58% at R$ 8.94.
In the sequence of the biggest gainers, Natura (NATU3) was trading at R$ 8.82, up 6.91%, and Armac (ARML3) was up 6.67% at R$ 3.68. These stocks made up the group of the five biggest gainers this afternoon on B3, consolidating moves above the Ibovespa at the time of the last reading.
On the losing side, PMAM3 held on to the position of the session’s biggest decliner, repeating the 13.33% drop reported in the previous update. Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) fell 9.87% to R$ 1.37, after having shown a 12.50% loss in an earlier reading. Gafisa (GFSA3) was trading at R$ 0.21, down 8.70%, while Braskem (BRKM5) retreated 8.46% to R$ 4.33. Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) rounded out the list of the five steepest losses, down 7.69% at R$ 1.56.
