Midway through Tuesday’s session, the Ibovespa was up 0.84% at 173,350.28 points, extending the gain compared with earlier partial readings. Among the standouts, Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) was leading the gainers on B3 with an advance of 13.16%, at R$ 1.72, while Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) posted the biggest drop of the period, down 12.50%, quoted at R$ 1.33.
ONCO3, which earlier had already stood out with a 5.9% gain, accelerated the move over the course of the session and is now up 13.16% in the 1:30 p.m. snapshot. Alongside it, Assai (ASAI3) was up 7.46%, trading at R$ 8.93, and RaiaDrogasil (RADL3) was advancing 6.55%, at R$ 19.52. Rounding out the group of the five biggest gainers, Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3) was quoted at R$ 1.17, up 6.36%, and Direcional Engenharia (DIRR3) was rising 6.30%, at R$ 11.31.
On the downside, AZTE3 deepened its losses compared with the 7.24% drop seen in an earlier update this session and is now down 12.50%, at R$ 1.33. Among the other steeper declines, Braskem (BRKM5) was down 8.88%, quoted at R$ 4.31, while Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) was falling 7.10%, at R$ 1.57. Paranapanema (PMAM3) was trading at R$ 0.14, down 6.67%, and Jalles Machado (JALL3) was retreating 5.45%, at R$ 2.43, completing the list of the five biggest decliners in the session so far.
As a result, the Ibovespa, which in the previous update stood at 172,482.83 points, up 0.30%, remains in positive territory in this session, while the stocks listed among the biggest gainers and losers show mixed moves in the middle of the trading day.
