Vale (VALE3) reported this Thursday, July 30, 2026, that the Board of Directors approved changes to the composition of the board, effective from August 1, 2026, through the end of the current term.

Independent director Reinaldo Duarte Castanheira Filho was elected to the position of vice-chairman of the Board of Directors. Independent director Wilfred Theodoor Bruijn was nominated by the independent members to serve as lead independent director.

According to the company, the Board of Directors reaffirmed its commitment to high standards of corporate governance, transparency, and sustainable value creation for shareholders and other stakeholders.
