Midway through Wednesday’s session, the Ibovespa was up 1.32% at 175,615.39 points, maintaining the upward move seen earlier on B3. Among the highlights, shares of WEG (WEGE3) were up 9.96% at R$ 46.70, while Paranapanema (PMAM3) was down 6.25% at R$ 0.30, ranking among the biggest losses of the day.

On the positive side, WEG (WEGE3) extended gains compared to the previous reading of this session, when it was up 8.78%, and remained the top gainer of the day, trading at R$ 46.70 (+9.96%). Braskem (BRKM5) followed among the top gainers, at R$ 6.12, up 7.18%. CVC (CVCB3), which earlier climbed as much as 8.9% to R$ 1.22, was now trading at R$ 1.20, still up 7.14% intraday.

Other standouts on the buy side included Ambipar (AMBP3), quoted at R$ 0.16, up 6.67%, and Intelbras (INTB3), at R$ 13.98, a 5.59% gain so far in the day. These stocks made up the group of the five biggest gainers of the session at that point, tracking the index’s advance.

On the losing side, Paranapanema (PMAM3) continued to retreat 6.25% to R$ 0.30, as the biggest decliner of the session. Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) fell 4.29% to R$ 0.67, while Enjoei (ENJU3) dropped 3.49% to R$ 0.83. Next among the biggest losses were Gafisa (GFSA3), quoted at R$ 0.35, down 2.78%, and Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3), which slipped 2.22% to R$ 1.32.

As a result, the Ibovespa remained in positive territory halfway through the session, while shares of WEG (WEGE3) and Braskem (BRKM5) stood out among the gainers, and Paranapanema (PMAM3) and Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) concentrated the biggest losses in intraday trading.
