PetroReconcavo (RECV3) announced, on November 5, 2026, the hiring of Peter Schlicht as Vice President of Subsurface. The announcement follows the Material Fact released on September 24, 2026, and begins the transition process with Troy Patrick Finney, the current holder of the position.

Schlicht is a geoscientist with a master's degree in Geology from the University of Cologne in Germany, and has more than 30 years of professional experience. He spent 25 years at Schlumberger (SLB), where he held technical and global leadership positions and, for more than a decade, served as Global Technical Director of Geology. He accumulated international experience in reservoir characterization, formation evaluation, exploration and technology development, working in the Americas, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Finney will remain as the company's Statutory Officer until December 31, 2026, to ensure a gradual, coordinated transition aligned with the company's strategic and governance guidelines.

PetroReconcavo thanked Finney for his contribution and support during the transition. According to the company, Schlicht's arrival strengthens its technical and strategic capabilities, contributing to the continued development and subsurface management of its asset portfolio.
