Espaçolaser (ESPA3), through Corpóreos Serviços Terapêuticos S.A., entered into a sale agreement to refranchise 3 company-owned locations in Ribeirão Preto and Barretos, in the state of São Paulo. The announcement was released on November 5, 2026. The units will be sold to Espaçolaser network franchisees.
The deal was closed at a multiple of 7.5 times the units' EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) over the last 12 months. In addition, the company becomes entitled to recurring royalties of 10% on the units' sales, in line with the standard franchise system model.
According to the company, the transaction seeks to optimize the company-owned store portfolio, make capital allocation more efficient and strengthen the franchise model. The company believes that, in certain markets, direct management by franchisees boosts local commercial and operational performance and ensures greater proximity to customers.
