According to PBG, the group is implementing a comprehensive process to reorganize its financial liabilities in order to extend the maturity profile of its obligations, optimize its capital structure, adjust its liquidity position, and create financial conditions considered more sustainable for its long-term activities.

The company states that negotiations with financial creditors involve a substantial portion of its indebtedness and remain ongoing, with the goal of reaching a consensual, long-term solution. PBG understands that the RD rating reflects the application of Fitch’s methodological criteria to transactions involving the restructuring of financial obligations.

According to the release, all obligations to financial creditors remain current, in line with the agreed terms and granted waivers. The company says that the rating update does not affect the continuity of operations, does not impact the execution of the business plan, and does not change the course of ongoing negotiations with creditors.

Portobello adds that its industrial, logistics, commercial, and customer service activities continue as normal, with the company maintaining compliance with its obligations to customers, suppliers, employees, franchisees, and other partners. PBG states that it will continue to inform the market of any new developments in the financial restructuring process.
