Midway through Tuesday’s session, the Ibovespa was down 0.52% at 205,841.43 points, while Gafisa (GFSA3) was up 12.12% at R$ 0.37, and Banco do Brasil (BBAS3) was down 6.87% at R$ 24.52, posting the biggest intraday gain and loss on B3 so far.
Compared to the most recent updates in this session, Gafisa, which had already appeared among the standouts with gains of 9.09% and then 12.12%, was still up +12.12% in early afternoon trading, consolidating the R$ 0.37 per share level. In the top gainers block, LWSA (LWSA3) advanced 9.09% to R$ 4.92, while Banco da Amazônia (BAZA3) rose 8.80% to R$ 77.25. Simpar (SIMH3) was up 8.53% at R$ 13.61, and Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3) gained 6.67% to R$ 2.08.
On the downside, Banco do Brasil, which earlier had fallen 7.03% and was later cited with a drop of 5.6%, deepened losses again to 6.87%, at R$ 24.52, remaining the biggest loser of the session at the time of the snapshot. Among the other declines, Espaçolaser (ESPA3) fell 6.31% to R$ 7.87, while Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) retreated 5.76% to R$ 1.31. Taurus (TASA4) lost 5.59% to R$ 7.94, and Banco BTG Pactual (BPAC11) slid 3.99% to R$ 77.66.
