In the first moves of Tuesday’s session, the Ibovespa was down 0.32% at 206,256.73 points, reversing the 0.93% gain seen at the opening of trading. Among the intraday highlights, Gafisa (GFSA3) was up 12.12%, quoted at R$ 0.37, while Banco do Brasil (BBAS3) was down 5.62%, trading at R$ 24.85.

On the list of the day’s top gainers on B3, in addition to GFSA3 in the lead, LWSA (LWSA3) was up 6.43% to R$ 4.80. Dasa (DASA3) rose 6.36% to R$ 4.35, and Simpar (SIMH3) gained 6.14%, quoted at R$ 13.31, after a recent string of corporate announcements involving the group. Automob (AMOB3), another company linked to Simpar, advanced 5.86% to R$ 15.00.

Among the biggest losers, BBAS3 held the top spot, with Banco do Brasil at R$ 24.85 and a drop of 5.62%. Espaçolaser (ESPA3) fell 5.36%, trading at R$ 7.95. Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) retreated 4.32% to R$ 1.33, while Taurus (TASA4) slipped 4.16% to R$ 8.06. The units (certificates that bundle more than one type of security) of Banco BTG Pactual (BPAC11) were quoted at R$ 78.40, down 3.08%.

Compared with the start of the session, when TPIS3 was among the gainers and the Ibovespa was up 0.93%, the trading day came to be marked by losses in the index and a rotation in the main highlights, with GFSA3 taking the lead among gainers and BBAS3 among losers in the 11:20 a.m. update.
