At the opening of today’s B3 session, the Ibovespa was up 1.25% at 181,987.20 points, while shares of Recrusul (RCSL4) were posting a 7.32% gain at R$ 0.44, and Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) stock was rising 6.28%, quoted at R$ 4.91. Among the early losers, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) stood out, down 8.89% at R$ 0.82.
Among the top gainers in the first minutes of trading, Recrusul’s preferred share (RCSL4) held the top spot, up 7.32% and priced at R$ 0.44. Right behind it were the common shares of Magazine Luiza (MGLU3), trading at R$ 4.91, with a 6.28% increase. Also in positive territory, Raízen (RAIZ4) was quoted at R$ 0.27, up 3.85%, while Grupo Vamos (VAMO3) gained 3.36% to R$ 3.08. Rounding out the group of the five biggest gainers, Eucatex (EUCA4) was up 2.59% at R$ 21.41.
On the downside at the open, Casas Bahia’s common shares (BHIA3) led the group, dropping 8.89% to R$ 0.82. Next, Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) fell 7.41%, trading at R$ 1.00. Viveo (VVEO3) declined 5.33% to R$ 0.71, while Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) slid 4.85% to R$ 1.57. Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) was also among the five biggest losers, down 4.79% and quoted at R$ 1.39 in the first minutes of trading.
